James Celmayster has been selling commercial and investment real estate in the Tri-Counties since 1977. Recognized as one of the area’s most accomplished commercial Brokers, James brings his clients over 33 years of experience and over $600 million of successfully closed transactions. Known for his expertise in the marketing of multifamily properties, James has been instrumental in the marketing hundreds of apartments units from 2 to 4 unit properties to the marketing and sale of one of the largest apartment sales in Santa Barbara County history. The recipient of numerous local and national awards for his sales production, James has always been a top broker within the real estate firms he has worked for. James accomplishes his sellers’ real estate objectives through intensive marketing and by creatively applying the necessary analytical and practical approach so important in the purchase and sale of investment property. James not only understands the multifamily investment marketplace from the Brokers point of view, but also through his experience as an investor/owner of numerous multi-family properties including 2 to 4 unit properties as well as larger apartment complexes. Between 2000 and 2008 James was a managing owner and member of the residential and commercial development company Coastal Properties LLC. Between these years, Coastal Properties was responsible for the development, sale and or entitlement of properties that accounted for well over 1,000 units in Orcutt and Santa Maria.

As an experienced commercial mortgage broker, James has expertise in the funding and underwriting of commercial and multifamily loans including Fannies Mae and Freddie Mac programs for owners and/or investors of 2 to 4 unit properties.
