EXPERIENCE
As a broker with Hayes Commercial Group Kris specializes in the leasing and sale of commercial and investment
properties. His comprehensive understanding of complex transactions, in-depth knowledge of market data and
trends, and talents in the marketing of commercial properties ensure that his clients receive the highest quality
representation possible. Excelling in market analysis, Kris provides economic data for the publication of the UCSB
Economic Forecast and California Economic Forecast.
Kris has been active in commercial real estate across the South Coast since 2003. As an associate with Hayes
Commercial and Leider Hayes, he has been instrumental in deals spanning the entire spectrum of commercial real
estate, successfully representing both local and national clients. Before entering the commercial real estate field,
Kris was a part of UBS/PaineWebber’s Specialized Equity Transaction Group, working with large-scale transactions
and gaining exposure to all facets of the equity market.
Kris has been able to thrive in the team environment at Hayes Commercial through his commitment to service and
integrity, his understanding of the commercial and capital markets, and his skill in both analytical and creative
approaches to the deal process.

EDUCATION
Kris has been in the Santa Barbara community for nearly 10 years, graduating with a B.A. in Business Economics with an Emphasis in Accounting from the University of California at Santa Barbara. He is a candidate for the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation as a recognized expert in the disciplines of commercial and investment real estate. Only 6 percent of the estimated 150,000 commercial real estate practitioners nationwide hold the CCIM designation. In addition, he is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the preeminent retail trade organization.
