Hayes Commercial brokers assume new roles on board of CALM

SANTA BARBARA – Two brokers with Hayes Commercial Group have been contributing their talents and personal time to CALM (Child Abuse Listening Mediation), a non-profit organization providing child abuse prevention and treatment programs throughout Santa Barbara County.

Dan Moll was recently elected President of the Board of Trustees. Dan has been on the board since 2012 and served as Vice President for the past two years. Dan has been a commercial real estate broker and an active member of the non-profit community since moving to Santa Barbara with his wife, Rosemary more than 30 years ago.

“As a Santa Barbara community member and a father of four, the safety of our community’s children is of the utmost importance to me,” Moll said. “Our community is fortunate to have organizations like CALM that remind us to speak up and advocate for children, and I’m honored to contribute to CALM’s efforts to prevent child abuse in Santa Barbara County.”

Liam Murphy was elected Secretary of the Board of Trustees. Liam joined the board in 2015 and was active as a volunteer for several years prior to that. A Westmont College alumnus, he has been a commercial real estate broker for nearly 10 years and is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). He was a Katherine Harvey Fellow in 2013-2014, an education program for young community leaders sponsored by Leading From Within and the Santa Barbara Foundation. Liam lives in Santa Barbara with his wife and three sons.
